"There isn't anything we won't do, find, provide, or develop to help a client, as long as it's ethical."
Laurie TeWinkle attributes her ambition and determination as an attorney to her rural childhood, where she learned the value of hard work as a result of being raised on a dairy farm. Laurie graduated with distinction from Pennsylvania State University in 1989, and went on to earn her juris doctorate from the University of Toledo in 1992. In 1993, she was admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and was admitted in New York in 1993.
Laurie took a job as a real estate attorney at Baldwin Brothers, Inc., a diversified real estate firm that owns, operates and manages almost three million square feet of commercial and residential space across the U.S. From 1994-95, she also served as an Assistant District Attorney of Chautauqua County in New York.
In 1998, she and Tony Sciarrino opened a law firm in Erie, PA handling personal injury claims, medical negligence, dui, wrongful death, and auto accident cases.
"There are similar cases, but the details of each case - the client's finances, personal life, job, hobbies - can make a big difference in how an event impacts the client's life. When we take a case, our focus is on how we can best help the client in his or her unique circumstances."
Tony Sciarrino is a lifelong resident of Erie County. Tony went to Fairview High School and graduated from Gannon University in 1989 with a finance degree. Tony went on to earn his juris doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1992. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar that same year. Following graduation, he was hired to work in the Erie office of Swensen, Perer and McCandless, a law firm headquartered in Pittsburgh. Tony gained experience representing both insurance companies and their policyholders.
Tony is well versed in the insurance industry. His practice is focused on car accident and motorcycle accident law and complex insurance litigation, including insurance bad faith.
